Lot 36 is based on an original story by del Toro and is scripted by Regina Corrado. “To pay off a violent debt collector, a bitter, bigoted man attends storage unit auctions to flip antiques,” according to the official plot synopsis. “When he buys Lot 36, he gets much more than he bargained for.”
Its ensemble cast includes Tim Blake Nelson (Watchmen), Elpidia Carrillo (Predator), Demetrius Grosse (Fear The Walking Dead), and Sebastian Roché (The Man in the High Castle).
Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities launches on Netflix on October 25. The four-day event sees two episodes of the horror-mystery anthology series debut daily from today through Friday, October 28th, when all eight episodes will be available as a collection on Netflix.
