We got an update and some Sonic Movie news regarding the Sonic Movie spin-off, Knuckles, coming to Paramount Plus. Casting includes returning Sonic the Hedgehog 2’s Idris Elba as the titular echidna and Adam Pally, who you might remember was the bumbling Green Hills police officer, Wade Whipple. Tika Sumpter will also reprise her role from the movies, guest starring in a few episodes. No word on whether James Marsden will make any appearances as Donut Lord. Production for the Sonic spin-off is currently underway in London, with director Jeff Fowler returning to helm the pilot episode and executive producing the #Knuckles series. The Paramount Plus series is slated to release before #SonicMovie3, and will take place before the previous two #SonicMovie entries Sonic fans have received. We’ve got updates on Wolverine in Deadpool 3, Nightcrawler surprisingly joins the Spider-Verse, and so much more in today’s fix with host Akeem Lawanson.
