IGN - Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp Review

Watch IGN Video: IGN - Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp Review.
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp reviewed by Jada Griffin on Nintendo Switch.

With nicely redone graphics and excellent music bringing the classic turn-based tactical action up to modern standards, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a great return for this long-neglected series and gives me hope for a follow-up that includes the DS games. While there isn’t much variety in the game modes, Advance Wars’ depth comes from the number of variables you can adjust to make every match feel unique. The biggest miss is the lack of multiplayer matchmaking, which makes it harder to get into a game than it ought to be in 2023, but at least you can play online. Playing against the AI will keep me interested in the short term, but I predict the inability to play against random opponents online will limit my spontaneous play sessions. However, the sheer number of maps, playable COs, and options for each match means that when I do, it's sure to be a unique experience.

Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 reviewed by Samantha Nelson. Premieres May 4, 2023 on Disney+. While the themes of Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 can be a bit repetitive, the diversity of characters and animation styles presented in tight episodes makes it well worth watching. Alternately goofy, political, sweet, and thrilling, the show celebrates the broad reach of Star Wars and provides plenty of characters and plots compelling enough to anchor their own s

Tales of the Jedi is now streaming on Disney+. Review by Alex Stedman. Tales of the Jedi is a strong, tightly written showcase for two important characters in Star Wars lore: Count Dooku and Ahsoka Tano. Dooku in particular gets a good amount of meat added to his character’s bones, while the other episodes feature a welcome look into Ahsoka at different points in her life. It’s moody and methodical at times, while still managing to weave in some beaut

Even with this asterisk - and I can't stress enough how significant it is - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a must-play experience for fans of the first game. It doesn't rewrite the rules so much as massively build upon, improve and expand on the formula in numerous ways. It offers a human story about home, family and moving on while presenting a likeable cast and memorable locations. Where the series goes from here is anyone's guess. I'm not just excited

Respawn goes hell for leather in delivering a Star Wars Jedi console game worthy of full current-gen status, with stunning levels of ambition in terms of visual design, fully embracing ray tracing lighting and embellishing the game with lavish detail. Performance and resolution suffers as a result, meaning that the 30fps resolution mode gives more consistent results and better image quality. PS5 and Xbox Series X get the premium experience, so where d
